Happy Birthday Papa!

Dear Father in Heaven,

I know that Daddy is there with you

Will you tell him that I love him

And I really miss him, too?

If you would please grant me

An answer to my prayer

Would you let me keep the memories

Of all the good times that we shared?

The times he'd say he loves me

With the twinkle in his eye

And how he'd always hug me

Before I said good-bye.

And one more thing, Dear Father,

I want to thank you from the heart

For giving me a Daddy

Though we are now apart.

Pa, I'm happy that you have finally rest

In heaven oh so blest

I surely did miss you Pa so much

Until we met each again in heaven's touch.

Keeping our Minds set on Heaven

I know it's hard to keep our minds set on heavenly things as what Apostle Paul had reminded us in Colossians 3:2 "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." King James Version

I have learned that God has given us a lot of ways that we may be able to achieve this. 1. We can pray to Him. Have a good talk with God it helps to make our fellowship with Him stronger. 2. Read your Bible. This is very effective in keeping our minds focused on God. There are a lot of lessons that we can learn from it. This third way that we can do to keep our mind set to heaven is to listen to Christian songs. Pure, heavenly, God honouring music not the contemporary ones which has no difference with worldly  music that only satisfies the flesh not soul.
